The Lovecraft Country, Season 1 wrapped up after releasing only then episodes full of magic and mayhem. The characters are quite accustomed to knockbacks and magics, received a huge blow. This occurred when Tic was assassinated, and he had left behind his loved ones, Leti as well as their unborn child.
Showrunner Misha Green wants to explore Atticus’s arc along with some meaningful sacrifice. The main purpose of this upcoming season is to make his life meaningful. It includes taking him on a journey of running away from death to a journey of walking towards death with a purpose.

Season 2: Cast details
There is no official notification yet for a second installment. But Green told in an interview that they are in talks with HBO and are quite excited to explore their plans in the second season. She also stated that it would be quite bad if they don’t produce a sequel. After giving only ten episodes for the first season, a second season is a must.
As far as who is going to return is concerned, one thing is for sure, that Tic is dead. But instead of feeling heartbroken, we need to accept the fact.
But, as you know, the show is full of magic so, Tic’s return may occur anytime in the future.

Season 1 of Lovecraft Country aired on 16th August 2020 on HBO in the US. But in the UK it was available a day before Sky and Now TV. With the current impending doom situation, the productions all over the world have come to a halt. All the cast and crew members are isolated and tested for the COVID-19 test.
So, the proceeding is taking time. Even the safety protocols owing to the COVID situation have changed. Social distancing is a must, and all are compelled to follow the safety parameters. So, the second part will arrive a bit later.
