The OA has maintained a legacy in the world of sci-fi mystery series. This Hollywood series is created by Brit Marling coupled with Zal Batmanglij also served as the executive producer. We witnessed the streaming of the first season on 16 December 2016 followed by its second release on 22 March 2019 on Netflix.

Will OA release a season 3?
To notify, OA has been canceled by Netflix, after streaming two seasons. However, we can expect a fresh new season as the series is determined to have 5 seasons. There was a chasm of 3 years between season 1 and season 2.
Accordingly, we can anticipate the third season to be aired somewhere around the end of 2021 or the beginning of 2022. It may be streamed on Netflix or some other streaming platform if the access is denied by Netflix. I know most of the fans are quite excited to know the faces of the cast crew. What can be expected out of Season 3?
The plot is centered around Prairie also given the epithet of the “Original Angel.” Prairie is a young lady who suddenly disappears one day and returns after 7 long years. After returning she sketches ideas about going on a clandestine mission with her 5 strangers.
On returning with superior abilities and potentialities and claims herself to be the Original Angel. Sounds fascinating as it is. It attracted the viewers with its super intriguing plot and visuals.
However, it was really disheartening to have OA canceled. Sharing the news on her Instagram, Brit Marling expressed her despondence for not being able to complete the show. She is said to have been injured. Netflix also exclaimed that it felt great for streaming two seasons and shall be back with something new in the future.
