When will Season 2 of Alias Grace be released?
The question is if the miniseries comes off with the second season? Netflix hasn’t officially confirmed it yet but we expect Alias Grace to be renewed with a sequel as the murder mystery is yet to be solved. The miniseries is based on a 1996 year novel with the same name by Margaret Atwood who is also famous for her novels like The handmaids’ Tale and Wandering Wenda which later became TV adaptations.
Like the other adaptations, the miniseries of Alias Grace was intended to describe the story in six episodes.
The Tv adaptation was underway for almost 20 years. Sarah Polley asked Atwood to reserve the right to adapt her novel at age the age of 17.

Dr. Jordan tries to find out if she has really committed the crime and the reason behind it. With each session, Grace reveals the hardships she faced as a woman and an immigrant. Alias Grace Season 2 highlights the concerns of gender-equality, class, identity crisis, mental health, and many such issues.
The cast of the series
Sarah Gordan to play the role of Grace Marks, an Irish immigrant imprisoned for 30 years in charge of murder. Edward Holcroft plays the role of Dr. Simon Jordan, the psychologist who is treating Grace to dig the answers behind the crime. Zachary Levi is characterizing Jeremiah Pontelli as a neuro-hypnotist. Margaret Atwood, the author herself made a cameo as an old woman in the church.
