World Food Day is one of the most important days to remember. This day is celebrated on October 16. This day is celebrated to mark the founding of food and agriculture (FAO). There was so many organization to encourage this day.

Some of the organizations include the World Food Program, International Fund for Agriculture Development. These organizations will celebrate this day to be marked.  Some of the organizations will also make awareness to those who struggle to get even a single meal in a day. This awareness is spread all over the world.

World Food Day: Information

At first, this day was established in the year 1979.  This day was announced by Former Hungarian Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Pal Romany. This good day is welcomed by so many peoples and so this day is celebrated by nearly around 150 countries.  Several themes had many efforts to increase the fund of agriculture and also made efforts to increase production.

Many of the teams decided to save the hunger of downtrodden peoples. Nowadays, this scheme was really useful for some people who are not able to get food. Food habits cause several problems for both rich and poor people. In order to solve this problem, one should know to keep the diet and maintain health.

The issue of hunger leads to malnutrition, death, and the growth of younger children.  In the entire world, India ranks 102nd out of 117 countries in the year 2019. This situation leads to get money and food. India faces many struggles and has a high level of poverty, food insecurity, and malnutrition. However this situation goes on, Now, the pandemic effect of COVID-19 had risen the same situation.

In order to manage this situation, the world food program is taking many steps to solve the problems with the help of the Government of India.  In the year of 2013, the national food security act which ensured food grains. I hope these steps will reduce the poverty in India. We must also help the poor and needy to save their hunger.
