Someone Has To Die Updates: Manolo Caro created a Spanish-Mexican Web series, entitled Someone Has To Die (originally in Spanish: Alguien tiene que morir). Someone Has To Die is a Netflix original with three episodes and featuring in the Spanish language. The show deals with themes such as conservatism, family, and homophobia.
Someone Has To Die is the first non-comedic work by Caro. Fernando Perez, Monila Revilla, and Manolo Caro penned the series while Caro, Rafael Ley, Maria Jose Cordova, and Carlos Taibo acting as executive producers.
The storyline of the show
The story takes place in the 1950s. A conservative Spanish family asks their son to return home from Mexico. The family wants the man to meet his arranged fiancée, but things did not go as planned. The young man surprises his small conservative town with a male ballet dancer he brings with him.
This alleged relationship between the man and the Mexican ballerino Lazaro creates mayhem in the traditional society of the Franco regime. As for now, there is no more revelation of the plot or storyline.
