Role Of Harlan In The Umbrella Academy Show

The second season of the series The Umbrella Academy is full of twists and turns and by the end of the season, Hargreeves returned to the present day where they found that the umbrella academy never existed but there’s a sparrow academy.

They left a key which is Harlan a superpowered kid in 1960 who might be the founder of the sparrow academy. The second season arrived in July 2020.

The Hargreaves

the Umbrella academy revolves around seven siblings who were born on the same day along with 36 other babies. The seven siblings were adopted by a scientist and a billionaire, Sir Reginald Hargreeves. Later each of them developed a unique superpower.

With further training by Renigald, they all formed a team but circumstances parted them, and years after they got united by their father’s funeral. Followed by their mission to stop the apocalypse, triggered by Vanya.

The season 2 caught up the scenes of siblings in Texas 1960 to 1963. Vanya lost her memory after getting hit by a car and was taken by the women responsible for this, Sissy.

Once saving the son of the lady Harlan from drowning, Vanya passed her superpowers to him and by the end of season 2, he still possessed these powers. Later in 2019, they discover with no such team instead of a sparrow academy with connections with Harlan.

The Umbrella Academy: Harlan’s Power

Harlan became an important character in the show. After Vanya saved him from drowning, she unknowingly passed her powers onto him. But Harlan with no control over his abilities become a possible trigger of the apocalypse although Vanya took his powers away in most parts.

At the end of the season, Harlan was seen in Sissy’s car with a toy in his hand clearly depicting his powers and telekinetic abilities are still entactin him.

Harlan showed his powers but more amplifies than Vanya’s. He could operate sound, repel objects, unleash sonic energy, create and levitate energy fields. Although these powers are dormant and could be trigger at any point in time with some proper training and practice.
