Testament: The Story of Moses | Official Trailer

The latest Netflix Testament: The Story of Moses documentary focuses on religion and spirituality during Pharaoh’s rule in Egypt. The creators recently unveiled an intriguing trailer highlighting Moses’ rocky climb to leadership and prophethood.

The docu-drama is a dramatized description of the prophet Moses’ rise to fame as a believer in God. The drama will reveal the mystery of Moses’ inner life, including his difficulties with his unique identity, self-doubt, and humanity.

It seeks to look at Moses’ life over various timelines, from being a stranger and outcast to being the honored prophet & liberator of the Hebrews.

The riveting docudrama also includes expert interviews through talking heads to provide context for the historical events interlaced with the sacred scriptures of the Bible, Qur’an, & Torah.

The trailer shows Moses’ journey as a stranger from the banks of the Nile to Mount Sinai and the Red Sea, where he rises through spiritual force. The Bible also records the Israelite exodus and Moses’ battle for salvation.

Charles Dance, Clarke Peters, and Avi Azulay contribute to the series’ depiction of Moses’ story. Dance, who played Tywin Lannister on Game of Thrones, was recently spotted in Rabbit Hole; Peters, who played Detective Freamon on The Wire, was last seen in Whitney Houston: I Want to Dance with Somebody; as well as Azulay, who plays Moses in Testament: The Story of Moses, has previously appeared in Manayek and East Side.

Testament: The Story of Moses premieres on March 27. Unlike “Sound of Freedom,” “The Story of Moses” will not be released theatrically.

Even if it was modified as a feature-length film rather than a docuseries, Netflix prefers long-term subscribers above one-time box office success.
