The Madness Starring “Colman Domingo” Netflix Release Date and More!

‘The Madness’ will be directed and produced by the prominent TV director Clement Virgo – you might remember him from the 2022 hit series ‘Dahmer’, ‘The Get Down’ and the HBO classic ‘The Wire’ – of course, these are just names at the top of the list.

Virgo is known for many more masterpieces throughout his career – and for ‘The Madness’, he is expected to direct episodes 1,2, 7, and 8.

Here’s an excerpt from Netflix’s Peter Friedlander about the thriller: “The Madness is a fresh take on the conspiracy thriller — turning the genre on its head with its multi-layered characters, propulsive action, and swift pace.

We are proud to have such a powerhouse team assembled to bring this dynamic story to life for Netflix viewers around the world, and to continue producing great entertainment with team Chernin”

There are several variations to the plotline of the series but one of the earliest ones spoke about the series and how it takes on as a political thriller with a Van Jones-like character playing center stage.

When Muncie Daniels (played by Colman Domingo) becomes an eyewitness to a brutal murder, he becomes the target of a cat-and-mouse chase to keep the politician’s dark, filthy, and racially charged dealings under hush-hush.
