In one of the most shocking and strange incidents you are ever going to hear, popular US Rapper, Killer Mike was arrested by the police during the 66th Grammy Awards event in Los Angeles right after he bagged three Grammy awards.
The prestigious 66th Grammy Awards night took place on 4th February at the Crypto.com Arena, it was a star-studded night, and the who’s who of the industry were in attendance.
The event was pretty much nice and easy until the LAPD entered the arena, put a handcuff on the rapper, and escorted him out of the building.
The 48-year-old rapper won three Grammy awards, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for “Scientists & Engineers” and Best Rap Album for “Michael”. This was Mike’s second Grammy and first as a solo artist, his first one came back in 2003.

Several videos have surfaced on social media where Mike can be seen handcuffed and surrounded by a dozen police officers while leaving the arena, the crowd was chanting “Free Mike” slogans and everything seemed quite chaotic and iconic at the same time.
According to reports, LAPD and the head of Police said that he was arrested after getting into a physical altercation inside the event venue, the charges were for misdemeanor battery. He was later released from custody the same night and has been asked to appear in court when ordered.
The next day Mike appeared on a radio show in his hometown of Atlanta and said that it was just a speed bump and he partied all night after his release while he also claimed that the security personnel at the event were overzealous.
Out of everything, what Mike was most happy for was the news that came to him the next day after Grammy, his son who has some issues with his Kidney has found a donor and will soon get a transplant.
