In Season 2 of ‘Sweet Home,’ after the Green Home Apartments are destroyed, the residents are taken to a military shelter. Hyun-su, undergoing army experiments, is captured by Jung Ui-Myeong controlling Pyeon Sang-wook’s body. A chaotic chase ensues as soldiers pursue them through the city.

Meanwhile, Eun-yu and Ji-su, along with survivors, head towards the shelter but face a monster attack. Eun-yu, desperate to find her missing brother, holds soldiers at gunpoint and returns to the ruined buildings. Private Park Chan-young saves them when soldiers attempt revenge.

Simultaneously, Ui-Myeong tries to recruit Hyun-su for a cause against humanity but turns violent, prompting Hyun-su to surrender them to the military. Hyun-su discovers his power to pacify monsters. Yi-kyung, seeking her fiancé, discovers him imprisoned.

In the end, Yi-kyung’s daughter’s true nature is revealed, prompting Eun-yu to follow them. Later, Private Park joins but ends up trapped with Eun-yu in a hunting pit set by survivalists Ho-sang and Ha-ni. Eun-yu escapes, leaving Park behind. She encounters the kid, who pushes her off a cliff, saved by Hyun-su.

Hyun-su escaped from Banseom, finding Yi-kyung clinging to life after her baby’s taxing birth. After Yi-kyung gives the child to Hyun-su, peace is short-lived. Yi-kyung tries reconciling but fails.

Men hunt the daughter, causing a confrontation that leads to Yi-kyung’s death and transformation into a monster. Hyun-su mourns and fights Yi-kyung but lets her escape.

Later, Hyun-su and Eun-yu struggle to save Yi-kyung, who dies due to carbon monoxide poisoning. Meanwhile, soldiers, unaware of Tak’s infection, go on a mission revealing a neo-human society experimenting on humans.

Eun-hyeok emerges as a neo-human. At the stadium, tensions rise as monsters lurk, and secrets unfold, hinting at a hidden monster under Ji’s control.
