Everything Now Season 2

Season one may have tied things up well in some ways, but there is still plenty of ground for Everything Now Season 2 to cover.

While Mia Polanco is the main focus of Netflix’s Everything Now, Ripley Parker’s comedy-drama about the 16-year-old’s anorexic recovery after returning from a treatment facility and the hardships and tribulations of her family and close friends is included.

A lot occurred in eight episodes, and there are still a lot of unanswered questions at the end of season 1. But are there any plans to see Mia and the others again? Continue reading to learn all you need to know about all Now season 2.

There is yet to be official news from Netflix that Everything Now will be renewed for a Season 2. This does not suggest we should give up the optimism of seeing Mia and her friends return for another season since Netflix sometimes waits to see how a series is received before renewing it.

The first series ended very frankly, leaving a lot of room for what the potential second series may explore. If it is renewed, anticipate it to arrive in mid-late 2024.

Sophie Wilde will be returning to her role as Mia, and we’ve soon learned that Mia would be lost without her circle of close-knit friends.

As a result, we’d bet on Lauryn Ajufo, Noah Thomas, and Harry Cadby reprising their roles as Becca, Will, and Cam, respectively.

Their love interests were at the heart of their teenage angst. Therefore, as Alison returns, we may expect to see Jessie Mae Alonzo’s Carli & The Witcher’s Niamh McCormack.

We’d also want to see the following characters appear in Season 2:

  • Mia’s brother Alex, played by Sam Reuben
  • Dr Nell, played by Stephen Fry
  • Mia’s dad, Rick, played by Alex Hassell

Following the season finale, several storyline strands remain unresolved.

Mia relapsed, but significantly, she chose to look for help and express her true feelings, demonstrating how far she’s gone, even if it doesn’t always seem that way.

While Mia and Carli have made their emotions known to one another (breaking Alison’s heart), they have stopped things so Mia may ultimately focus on her recovery. Carli is spared the misery of being “just another fix” to someone. Will they be able to stand up to each other?

Becca breaks her relationship with Jonah, which opens the door for Cam. Like Mia, they have challenges and hang-ups they must navigate that harmed their situation the last time. But can they start over? And, more importantly, should they? The second season will likely answer these questions.
