When Is Station 19 Season 7 Coming?

When Is Station 19 Season 7 Coming? Well, Station 19 season 7 is delayed because of two big protests happening in Hollywood. The 2023 Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike has ended, but the scriptwriters for the show have not yet commenced their work. This means there’s no storyline ready for season 7, and therefore, no release date has been set.

However, it’s expected that the writers will begin their work in the next week or so, and the production, which is currently on hold, should start in December. If things go according to this schedule, we can anticipate season 7 to be on our screens around the middle of next year or by the fall of 2024.

But there’s a condition – the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, which involves actors, also needs to end within a week for this timeline to work. So, we’ll have to wait and see how things unfold for Station 19 season 7.

The latest news suggests that the two groups involved in the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike are now discussing a potential agreement. If these talks go well, there’s a chance the protest might end by next week. However, these are only guesses, so the future of Station 19 season 7 is uncertain at the moment.

The new person in charge of the show, Peter Paige, mentioned on a social media platform like X (formerly known as Twitter) in June that season 7 will probably premiere in 2024. To give you some context, the last season had 18 episodes and ran from October 6, 2022, to May 18, 2023.

Station 19, which is a spin-off of Grey’s Anatomy, first premiered on March 22, 2018. In April of this year, it got renewed for a seventh season, but a month later, the strikes began, causing a complete halt in the production process.

The show’s main focus is on the lives of male and female firefighters working in the Seattle Fire Department. Since we don’t know the plot for season 7 yet, we’re left with a lot of questions from the season 6 finale.

One big question is whether Gibson will survive. He suffered a serious head injury and collapsed, which might mean less screen time for him even though he’s a main character. This could bring attention to mental health issues in season 7.

With Dixon’s death, Lieutenant Theodore “Theo” Ruiz from Station 23 could become a new antagonist. The relationship between Natasha and Sullivan, which was revealed at the Firefighter’s Ball, will likely face challenges.

Carina and Maya, who aren’t as close as before, might decide to adopt Nanette’s child if she survives. Additionally, the love triangle involving Andy and Travis may take center stage in season 7. For now, you can watch all the episodes of Station 19 on Hulu.
