Her film debut came a decade after she started her acting career as she was signed for a short role in the movie Jolene in 2008, and to her surprise, her performance received a lot of appreciation from the critics.
Jessica started to get worldwide attention in 2011 when she was part of six back-to-back movies including the psychological thriller film Take Shelter, a role alongside Brad Pitt in The Tree of Life.
