After Seon-woo’s tragic murder by the serial killer, Ye-bun falls into a deep depression. She blames herself because Seon-woo died while saving her life and also directs some of her anger towards Jang-yeol.

Meanwhile, Jang-yeol’s team, led by Captain Won, rushes to investigate Seon-woo’s cabin for clues, even though they’re technically not supposed to be involved anymore.

Inside the cabin, they find the Shaman bloodied and unconscious. He later wakes up and is devastated by Seon-woo’s death. The Shaman takes it upon himself to organize a funeral for Seon-woo since he has no family.

Detective Kang, in charge of the serial killer case, interrogates Ye-bun due to her presence at the crime scene, noticing her strange involvement from the beginning. Jang-yeol intervenes, leading to a fight with Kang and a suspension.

However, his colleagues, Captain Won, Detectives Na, and Bae, support him and help him continue the investigation. Jang-yeol realizes a crucial clue about the killer’s identity: they wore dark sunglasses during the murders, which explains the black screens in the killer’s memories.

When he tries to share this with Ye-bun, she initially refuses to get involved but eventually can’t ignore the obvious truth about the killer.

In the end of Behind Your Touch, Jang-yeol and Ye-bun have been trying to uncover the mystery of the black screens that the killer uses to hide their identity from Ye-bun’s psychic powers.

After Gwang-sik’s death, they realized he left a clue behind, suggesting that the killer was wearing dark sunglasses.

However, when Ye-bun figures out the killer’s identity, it’s not a pleasant discovery. She realizes that the killer is Jong-bae, the Shaman, who has been using his psychometric powers to commit murders since the night of a meteor shower. Seon-woo also knew the truth and tried to tell Ye-bun before he died.

Despite discovering Jong-bae’s true nature, Ye-bun struggles to share this information with Jang-yeol.

However, she eventually covertly passes a clue to him through a note, leading to the discovery of an incriminating audio recording on Seon-woo’s phone.

The Shaman confesses to the murders but has a backup plan involving the kidnapping of Ok-hui. He escapes with Ye-bun as a hostage, but they manage to break free from his accomplice, Soon-gil.

After a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase, Jang-yeol and Ye-bun catch Jong-bae by the seaside. In a comedic twist, Ye-bun pokes out Jong-bae’s eyes to prevent him from using his powers in prison, bringing the serial killer case to a fitting conclusion.
