In 1783, Julia Belmont desperately sent her son, Richter, away from the dangers of the New World to France. But before he leaves, a powerful vampire named Olrox, who can transform into a dragon, attacks Julia, sparing Richter’s life but promising to find him later.
Nine years later in Western France, Richter lives with his aunt Tera, a sorcerer, and her daughter Maria, a witch. Vampires attack, hinting at a Vampire Messiah coming for Richter. Annette and Edouard from Saint-Domingue rescue them.
