In the Invasion Season 2 Episode 5 of ‘Invasion’ titled ‘A Voice From the Other Side,’ strange things happen. Lisa and Martin, a couple at a remote house, hear a weird voice, and when Martin investigates, they’re attacked by a strange creature.

Meanwhile, members of the Movement, Aneesha and Luke, search for Sarah, who went missing during an alien attack. They find footprints suggesting the military took her. President Benya Mabote reveals a new, deadlier type of aliens called “Hunter-killers” that are immune to weapons.

Mitsuki offers to communicate with the aliens, but it’s risky. Rachel spots a military convoy headed to Camp Pierce, but it’s dangerous due to Hunter-killers. Tensions rise when Aneesha’s secret is revealed.

Rose helps Trevante find a place mentioned in the drawings. Martin talks about ‘the Up’ where aliens took his wife. Aneesha trusts Clark and the Movement after a secret is kept for her.

In the episode’s thrilling conclusion, Mitsuki boldly confronts the alien entity inside the mothership with the intention of using frequencies to provoke it into communication. Her goal is to uncover a way to defeat the new, deadlier species of aliens plaguing Earth.

As Mitsuki begins to provoke the entity with piercing frequencies, it gradually takes on the form of a young girl who appears to know about Mitsuki’s past.

Despite Mitsuki’s attempts to understand why the entity is attacking her planet, the girl-form alien remains silent and instead shares a story from its past.

Mitsuki is shocked to realize that the young girl is her lover, Hinata, but she can’t be sure if it’s truly Hinata or an alien trick. When the entity persuades Mitsuki to make physical contact, it envelops her, leading to seizures and Maya breaking protocol to rescue her.

During this chaotic moment, Mitsuki sees a tunnel with a voice calling out to her, revealed to be Caspar Morrow, partially stuck in the alien world. As Mitsuki reaches for him, Maya pulls her out of the pod.

The episode concludes with Mitsuki passing out, leaving Maya and Nikhil to grapple with the unsettling revelation that the aliens can shape-shift and adapt, hinting at a larger conspiracy behind the invasion.

To uncover the truth, the scattered forces seeking answers must unite and rescue Caspar, who appears to hold the key to everything.
