The Fall Of The House Of Usher Trailer Combines Netflix Horror With Edgar Allan Poe Classics1
The trailer introduces the Usher family, including siblings Roderick (Bruce Greenwood) & Madeline (Mary McDonnell), who lead the family’s crooked business, Fortunato Pharmaceuticals.
Suddenly, a strange lady from their youth starts killing the Usher heirs in more horrific ways, exposing terrible truths from their dubious family history.
The wealthy Usher family is the focus of the forthcoming miniseries. Roderick and Madeline Usher have built Fortunato Pharmaceuticals into an effective (but crooked) firm.
However, as many previous horror stories witnessed, enormous riches frequently invite darkness out of the shadows.
Suddenly, the company’s heirs begin to be brutally murdered. According to the trailer, there is more to Fortunato’s past than shareholders realize.
Flanagan’s series is based on Edgar Allan Poe’s short story of the same name and other works by the author. The original The Fall of the House of Usher, published in 1939, is far more limited in scope than the series.
In it, an unknown narrator arrives at Roderick Usher’s house. He is staying at home with his ill sister, Madeline. Roderick is adamant that the house is still alive and that his sister has died.
The enigmatic siblings provide lots of space to interpret their past, and Flanagan wants to offer us more than we could wish.
