Untold: Swamp Kings| Florida Gators | Official Teaser

The first trailer clip for Untold: Swamp Kings, the fourth and last chapter of Netflix’s Untold Vol. 3 documentary series on inspiring and controversial sports events, has been released. Swamp Kings will immerse fans in Florida collegiate football’s fierce and passionate world.

The trailer includes interviews and footage of the Florida Gators, who went from outsiders to champions under Coach Urban Meyer’s strict supervision.

The Netflix docuseries will include game clips, behind-the-scenes recordings, and player interviews. Meyer served as the head coach of the Florida Gators for more than a decade before his dismal spell with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Gators were the center of attention during his tenure because there was outstanding achievement and controversy.

Meyer became the head coach of Florida in 2005 and guided them to the National Championship in 2006.

Meyer led them to one more championship in 2008. Meyer also had a 65-15 mark with the Gators in six seasons.

Aside from wins, the Meyers period was marked by continuous conflicts. Approximately 30 athletes were arrested during Meyer’s stint in Florida.

However, some of those detained were never charged. Several off-field events and arrests plagued the Gators, and the locker room was filled with big-time characters over the years.

Again, several polarising names from that era’s Florida teams are still recognized in college football & NFL memory.

Aaron Hernandez flourished as a tight end for Meyer’s UF teams and was one of Meyer’s most prominent players.

Hernandez became renowned in Florida for his excessive partying, which led to his first run-ins with the authorities. That was before he was condemned to jail for first-degree murder in 2015 and committed suicide in 2017.

Percy Harvin, a brilliant wide receiver who took straight snaps as quarterback on planned runs, was also on those Gator teams.

The documentary is also expected to include the Pouncey brothers, Mike and Maurkice, who played in the offensive trenches for the Gators and became personal friends with Hernandez.

Following the death of Odin Lloyd, both received condemnation for supporting Hernandez, including sporting “Free Hernandez” caps in 2013.

On each of the first four Tuesdays in August, Netflix will release a new episode of “Untold” Volume 3. On August 1, the season opened with a documentary on Jake Paul, and the season will conclude with “Swamp Kings” on August 22.
