Quarterback NFL Sports-Docuseries Released on Netflix.

Patrick Mahomes and two other NFL Quarterbacks will be featured in a new Netflix documentary premiering on July 12.

Six years after we eagerly awaited Patrick Mahomes’ debut as an NFL player, we’re becoming just as excited for Netflix’s new docu-series Quarterback, released on July 12.

This is because the program will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the Kansas City Chiefs star both on and off the field, providing the Chiefs Kingdom with even more coverage and access to their favorite player.

Quarterback will be available on Netflix on July 12, a little over a month from now, as stated at the end of the official trailer. In terms of release timing, Netflix often distributes new television episodes and docu-series like this around 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT.

Quarterback Official Trailer

Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins, and Marcus Mariota have all been confirmed as significant players in Netflix’s new Quarterback series.

The streaming giant just released an official teaser for the highly anticipated sequel, which will provide an inside peek into their life as NFL quarterbacks.

The almost 2-minute trailer depicts the intricacies of being a quarterback in the NFL, illustrating how an injury to a team’s Quarterback can surely wreck a whole season — particularly if the damage is season-ending.

At one point, Chiefs coach Andy Reid threatens to take Mahomes out of a game, only for Mahomes to protest the decision and declare that he is “good.”

The series focuses on Mahomes and Kirk Cousins of the Minnesota Vikings & Marcus Mariota of the Atlanta Falcons. It includes in-depth, on-camera interviews with each player and access to each player’s locker room and family life.

The trailer also shows a fair dose of perspective from the players’ partners. When asked about the upcoming documentary, Mahomes stated that he is “excited” for viewers to get an up-close-and-personal look at the behind-the-scenes activity that quarterbacks see daily as the team’s frontman.

The documentary will also go into Mahomes’ personal life, including the birth of his kid during the NFL season.

In recent years, Patrick Mahomes has been the best Quarterback in the NFL, but Kirk Cousins remains consistently effective.

Many NFL fans believe that Mahomes and Cousins make sense as featured players in the next series, especially given their track record of success on the field.

Meanwhile, Marcus Mariota has been an anomaly, usually serving as a backup in previous seasons.

“Quarterback is a first-of-its-kind NFL-Netflix collaboration, providing unmatched access to three of the league’s top players.” The nine-episode documentary follows quarterbacks who are mic’d up for every game for the first time, from the start of the 2022 season until the end.

And it’s not just about life on the pitch: Quarterback takes viewers from the huddle to the players’ homes, revealing how they deal with the rigors of their professional and personal lives.”

Netflix’s official summary for the series is as follows:
