The cast and characters of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2
There have been few casting announcements in the official updates for The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2. We anticipate seeing the original cast again.
The central trio of actors (Tung, Briney, and Casalegno) appeared in many of the photographs and videos from their filming locations posted on the show’s official social media sites.
In pictures posted by the official social media accounts during filming, Rain Spencer (Taylor), Summer Madison (Nicole), Jackie Chung (Laurel), Sean Kaufman (Steven), David Iacono (Cam), and Rachel Blanchard (Susannah), all appeared, indicating that they would all probably all appear in season 2.
What can we anticipate from Season 2?
While no official plot details have been disclosed, it is assumed that The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2 would expand on the main story developments left by the season 1 finale.
The bond between Belly and Conrad and how the Fisher family deals with Susannah’s sickness will undoubtedly be explored more in the future season. Season 2 is also expected to follow Han’s next novel in her trilogy, It’s Not Summer Without You.
In the second novel, Belly looks forward to returning to the beach for the summer because her relationship with Conrad isn’t going as well as she had thought.
However, when Jeremiah calls to tell her that Conrad has disappeared, Belly attempts to make things right at the beach, where all three have always had the finest time.
The novel alternates between the three characters’ points of view and rushes back and forth between the present, with Belly and Jeremiah bonding on their hunt for Conrad, and the past, with Belly’s long-distance relationship with Conrad during the school year.
It’s still being determined how much of the novel will be adapted for Season 2, as there will undoubtedly be alterations for the show, but the same plot is likely to be present in some way.
