Tom Holland Announces Break From Acting!

The past decade has been one helluva ride for popular English actor Tom Holland, he has received international fame and is now among the list of most popular actors in the current generation.

Tom started his acting career at the age of 16 and made his debut with the movie The Impossible, his amazing performance in the movie won the hearts of fans around the world, and the very next year he got featured in a romantic film How I Live No.

He then took a year break and made his return in 2015 with the adventure drama film, In the Heart of the Sea, in the same year he was part of BBC Two’s miniseries Wolf Hall.

Tom tasted his first international success in the year 2016 when he got featured as Peter Parker aka Spider-Man in the movie Captain America: Civil War, and very next year Tom became the youngest actor to feature in an MCU Spider-Man: Homecoming and he also won the BAFTA Rising Star Award.

Tom touched the peak of his career when Far From Home in 2019 and No Way Home in 2021 became one of the most successful movies in history and the latter even crossed the 1 billion dollar mark in terms of collection making it the the highest-grossing film of the year 2021.

With so many projects done and dusted by Tom in the last five years particularly, it seems like the actor certainly needs some break and upon completing his upcoming TV series “The Crowded Room“, Tom has officially announced that he will take a year break from acting.

Tom recently gave interviews to several media outlets where he discussed how tough shooting for the show was for him, it actually broke him and pushed him to his limits which forced him to take a break from acting.

Although he also admitted that it was a great learning experience and he is excited to see how it will turn out. The Crowded Room will premiere on Apple TV+ on 9th June.
