It was originally scheduled to be released on April 1, 2022, but owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the date was pushed back to November 4, 2022, and then it was pushed back again to June 2, 2023.
While it was ready for release earlier than other DC movies delayed by the pandemic, its release date was then moved up to December 16, 2022.
The release date of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom had been originally assigned to that date. In order to avoid clashing with the April 2022 release of 20th Century Studios’ Avatar: The Way of Water, the release date was decided to move back five days to December 21. Finally, it was scheduled to debut on March 17, 2023.

What Is Shazam! Fury Of The Gods About?
At the time of this writing, Warner Bros. has not disclosed an official narrative summary for the upcoming film Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Yet it’s likely that this sequel begins with Billy questioning whether he’s a superhero good enough.
Not to mention that he finds it difficult to control his siblings’ superpowers as they each have their own goals. Nevertheless, the Wizard character, played by Djimon Hounsou, who in the first film gave Billy abilities before dissipating into dust, finally informs him that the Daughters of Atlas are pursuing him.
The sisters rebuilt the Wizard’s power-transferring staff that Billy shattered in the previous movie because they think kids stole godly capabilities, and they’ll presumably use it to reclaim these abilities from the Shazam Family. Trailer Of Shazam! The Gods’ Fury
The first Shazam! Fury of the Gods trailer was released to the public on July 23, 2022, following its debut at SDCC.
This trailer, which is set to an epic version of Eminem’s “Business,” maintains the previous movie’s playful tone while also emphasizing new dangers, one of which just so happens to be a dragon. You can watch the trailer right below:
