Recap Of Season 4 Finale

The Rookie Season 5 Part 2
Deadline

Alexi Hawley helmed and wrote the season 4 finale of The Rookie. The episode is named Day in the Holi. Nolan and Bailey made their way to the border town of Frontera in this episode, which was broadcast on the 15th of May, 2022. There, Nolan was scheduled to spend his “day in the hole” with Gabrielle Navar, a local police trainee.

They didn’t talk much, and Nolan thought she was doing well. However, when they almost got into a gunfight at a roadside stop, he remarked that she hadn’t adequately assessed the risks.

Blair Darvill, the man they had detained, begged them to release him before his gang became suspicious, but Nolan refused. The gang opened fire on the station diner in an effort to rescue Darvill after the leader came and tried to bribe Nolan.

They took down the group together with Navar and Ellroy, Nell’s lover, and had the survivors detained as the CHP arrived to help.

When narcotics were found in Tamara’s new car in Los Angeles, Chen looked into it. It came out that the car belonged to Jake Butler, a Bradford doppelganger. He reluctantly accepted Roy Hajek, Butler’s employer, and his new mission to go undercover.

Chen was shocked to learn that Butler’s girlfriend was an exact replica of herself. She was given the assignment to go undercover with Bradford, though they had trouble creating a plausible narrative for the two.

Harper went up to Grey and requested if she could continue working as a detective after her maternity leave. Grey agreed to her request and then made the necessary arrangements for Thorsen to get a new training officer.
