Episode 5 of Spy x Family Season 2 is now out, and it looks excellent right away, with great animation and beautiful color tones.

The first part begins with Anya still plotting a way to show off her puppy to Damian to get access to his home. Becky, as always, follows her and listens to her while discussing her fondness for romantic dramas.

But when Becky sees a family portrait of Anya that she got to show Damian, her puppy, she falls deeply in love with Loid. She even asks Anya whether he is dating someone, to which Anya responds by explaining how her Papa was indeed married to her Mama.

And, well, this is the start of a new absurd perspective in which Becky is added to the list of Loid’s fans.

But it’s not just any day; it’s Damian’s unique art and craft day, which he must take exceptionally seriously to please his negligent father. And Anya quickly agrees to assist him since she has her hidden motivations.

This section of the episode also demonstrated how, despite her lack of creative talent, Anya completed her goal with flying colors owing to her exceptional luck. This episode was fantastic, and I loved how we got to see Damian in a different light. This episode was both amusing and enjoyable.

The show’s second half then begins, and we learn a little more about the Fullmetal Lady. We know everything about her, from how she goes about her day to how she gets to be one of the finest spies in her agency.

Loid also makes an entrance here and, as usual, reports to Sylvia. This episode depicts the interplay between Twilight and the Fullmetal Lady, and we, as viewers, see how even the mighty Twilight cannot stain Silvia’s dignity.

This episode provides insight into the Forgers’ daily lives and how they behave. Unfortunately, we have yet to receive an engaging episode that advances the story, but it still makes you smile.

The final scene was the most moving. Anya pledged to work well in school while she and her father watched the fireworks. On the surface, it’s a promise that many children make to their parents.

Still, the audience recognized how much weight Anya’s words carried, especially considering what she stated previously about how much fun she’s had since meeting her “father.”

Anya promised to study hard to keep having fun with her father and mother – so this wouldn’t be the last time. And Loid caressing Anya’s head like the adoring father he is was the perfect ending to a lighthearted yet touching episode.
