The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Florence will not be paid less than eight figures in dollars.

Following the news of Florence Pugh’s high salary in Thunderbolts, it was revealed that the creators of many of the MCU’s fan-favorite characters are not being paid well for their input and ideas. Before this time, Yelena Belova’s co-creator, Devin Grayson, a character from the movie Black Widow, released information about how much she was paid.

Devin revealed that she only received $5,000 of the $12,500 promised to Marvel. After Devin’s public demand, Marvel paid her the remaining $7,500.

The reporter went on to say that writers and comics create characters for Marvel and DC without good pay, rather screen talents like Florence Pugh benefit from the success of the films without crediting the creators of the material used.

It has been reported that the actual creators of the characters used for these films are unwilling to create content for DC and Marvel. This is because they will not be privileged to riches if the characters they created become the face of a billion-dollar movie franchise.

Rather, many of them choose to go the indie publisher route where they can make deals that are more profitable in terms of keeping their IP.

In addition to Florence Pugh, Michael Keaton also receives a decent salary for his roles. Michael, who is known for his role in Birdman, was paid $2 million for about a week’s work on Batgirl, the $90 million Warner Bros. movie that was scrapped.
