Jung Woo Sung and Shin Hyun to Work Together In Upcoming Drama Tell Me That You Love Me.

Jung Woo Sung is going to make a comeback after 10 years through a drama alongside Shin Hyun Bin.

According to the announcement made by STUDIO & NEW on September 22, Jung Woo Sung and Shin Hyun Bin will co-star in the upcoming romance drama entitled “Tell Me That You Love Me.” Besides being a South Korean actor, Jung Woo Sung is also the first Korean Goodwill Ambassador for the UNHCR.

Jung started his career as a fashion model and even received the Best New Actor Award at the 17th Korean Association of Film Critics Awards for the movie “Beat” (1997). He is one of the talented actors noted for taking on prominent roles in a variety of genres.

Shin Hyun Bin is also a South Korean actress who made her acting debut in the 2010 movie “He’s on Duty”. She played the role of a Vietnamese worker who battles racism in South Korea. At the prestigious 47th Baeksang Arts Awards, she was even honored for her performance as Best New Actress (Film).

Her most well-known television performances were ‘Warrior Baek Dong-soo’ (2011), ‘Mistress’ (2018), ‘Confession’ (2019), ‘Hospital Playlist’ (2020–2021), and ‘Reflection of You (2021).

The upcoming drama “Tell Me That You Love Me” is a romance drama based on the 1995 Japanese drama of the same name. It took away many awards and took home numerous accolades at the Japan Television Drama Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, Best Actress, and others.

Cha Jin-woo, a man with hearing loss who, despite his challenges, has a pleasant and laid-back nature, will be portrayed by Jung Woo-sung. He is unconcerned by criticism of himself or his personality and enjoys his own company without caring about what people think.

On the other hand, Shin Hyun Bin will portray the character of self-respecting Jung Mo Eun who proudly pursues her love and goals.

The drama Tell Me That You Love Me is going to be a collaborative work between the screenwriter of ‘Love in Moonlight‘ and ‘The Sound Of Magic’ Kim Min-jung and director Kim Yoon-jin.

The filming of the series is supposed to start at the end of the year. The plot of the drama is about a deaf artist and a would-be actress who share a fateful passion that transcends spoken language.

After his 2012-ending drama “Padam Padam,” this is Jung Woo Sung’s first small-screen appearance. After ten years of gap, the actor is returning back with a new drama. His fans are quite excited to see him back in the series and are eagerly waiting for it to be released.
