Pinocchio III Release Date, Cast, Plot, and More

Pinocchio III is all set with some more lies. Disney has recently released many of its renowned animated films in new versions. Despite all the criticism, Disney will keep making these remakes since they are still incredibly profitable.

The most recent animation classic that Disney is redesigning is Pinocchio, a 1940 animated classic that tells the story of a wooden puppet that grows up to be a real boy.

Acclaimed director Robert Zemeckis produced Disney’s adaptation of this tale from a script he co-wrote with About A Boy author Chris Weitz, even though it has been adapted for the big screen multiple times, twice with Italian comic Roberto Benigni.

Disney released the first Pinocchio trailer on May 31, 2022. Even though the 102-second teaser doesn’t show much of the title character, it does contain other characters (both real humans and CGI), and it even has a brief excerpt from the movie’s new version of the classic song “When You Wish Upon a Star.”

Pinocchio III Release Date

Variety

From September 8, 2022, the new Pinocchio will only be available on Disney+. This day is notable since it will be the second annual Disney+ Day celebration and come before the company’s biennial fan expo, D23.

Keep in mind that Mulan and Lady and the Tramp, all of which were set to release in theatres and Pinocchio were also live-action Disney remakes that were unable to release due to COVID.

Surprisingly, in addition to Disney’s Pinocchio remake, other important Pinocchio movies are scheduled for release in late 2022.

Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro co-wrote and co-directed a stop-motion animated Pinocchio movie for Netflix with an all-star cast that included Ewan McGregor, Christoph Waltz, Tilda Swinton, Finn Wolfhard, Ron Perlman, Tim Blake Nelson, Cate Blanchett, and John Turturro.

However, Disney’s new Pinocchio seems to be a faithful remake of its renowned animated film, whilst Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio is purportedly a dark and twisted take of the Carlo Collodi fable.

In the upcoming years, Disney+ will release tons of fantastic content, with Pinocchio being one of the most eagerly anticipated movies. On September 8, 2022, this live-action remake of Walt Disney’s 1940 cartoon picture will be released.
