As per Deadline, Kristen Bell, a member of the original cast, will return to the show as Abby, Paige’s (Katherine Hahn) younger sister. In the first season of Central Park, Bell provided the voice of Molly, the mixed-race daughter of Paige (Hahn) and Owen (Leslie Odom Jr.).
In 2020, she announced on Instagram that she was leaving the show and handing over the part to “someone who can give a much more accurate picture of the mixed race and Black American experience.” Since Season 2 had already been written and recorded, Apple predicted that Bell would return as a new character in Season 3. Emmy Raver-Lampman was ultimately chosen to play the role of Molly after the initial search.
