Devils Season 2 is all set to amaze you with its thrilling episodes. Italian financial thriller series ‘Devils’ that is based on the same named 2014 novel by Maria Brera, is finally coming to the United States with its second season.
The plot of the series is set in 2011 London and revolves around the protagonist Massimo Ruggero who is the Head of Trading of NYL or New York London Investment Bank. At this time the whole of Europe was going through a major financial crisis. But Massimo was making millions and millions out of speculation for NYL.
The plot also focuses on Massimo’s mentor and NYL’s America CEO Dominic Morgan. But when Massimo gets involved in a scandal, Dominic chooses another one for promotion leaving Massimo astounded.
On his quest to search for the truth, Massimo comes across bigger agendas that involve the Libyan Civil War, Strauss-Kahn scandal, PIIGS crisis, etc.

The series was released in Italy on April 17, 2020, on Sky Atlantic. The second season premiered on April 22, 2022. In the United States, Devils Season 2 is set to release on August 16, 2022, on The CW.

As the protagonist Massimo Ruggero we see in the series Italian actor Alessandro Borghi. He is recognized for playing Aureliano Adami or “Number 8” from 2017 to 2020 in the crime drama series ‘Suburra: Blood on Rome’.
From 2012 to 2013 he was cast as the main character of Sebastiano in the Italian tv series ‘L’isola’. Other series and miniseries in which he starred in minor roles are ‘Distretto di polizia’, ‘RIS Delitti Imperfetti’, ‘Don Matteo’, ‘Augustine: The Decline of the Roman Empire’, ‘Romanzo criminale- La serie’, ‘Caccia al Re-La narcotici’, ‘Che Dio ci aiuti’ etc.

Dominic Morgan, the mentor of Massimo, is played by American actor Patrick Galen Dempsey who is also a race car driver. Besides his role as neurosurgeon Derek Shepherd or “McDreamy” in ABC’s renowned medical drama ‘Grey’s Anatomy, this successful actor has a lot of significant film and tv series roles in his career.
His other tv series roles include ‘Fast Times, ‘JFK: Reckless Youth’, ‘A Season in Purgatory’, ‘20,000 Leagues Under the Sea’, ‘Will & Grace’, ‘Once and Again’, ‘Karen Sisco’, ‘The Practice’, ‘Private Practice’, ‘Phineas and Ferb’, ‘The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affairs’.

In 2013 she starred in the Catalan show ‘Polseres vermelles’ in the role of Rym. From 2015 to 2016 Costa played the series regular role of María de Austria in the series ‘Carlos, Rey Emperador’ and the recurring role of Paula in another series ‘Citas’.

In 2004 she played Anna in another Italian comedy movie ’13 at a Table’. As Elena Cajafa she co-starred with Giuseppe Fiorello and Ettore Bassi in the tv movie ‘St. Giuseppe Moscati: Doctor to the Doctor’ in 2007.
The same year she was also cast as Mavi in Peter Del Monte’s drama movie ‘In Your Hands’ for which she won a European Nastro d’Argento Italian Golden Globe Award under the category of New Star of the Year- Actress and a nomination for Italian Golden Globe Award for Best Actress.
