Trying Season 3 Updates: Andy Wolton created and wrote the British comedy series ‘Trying’ that is directed by Jim O’Hanlon. The plot of the series revolves around a couple, Nikki and Jason.

The series began with their wish of becoming parents. But they find themselves struggling to conceive a child. After many endeavors, they finally decide to adopt. But their fight does not end there. The adoption process forces them to face new challenges as well as surprises.

He played Jay Wratten in the British miniseries ‘The Shadow Line’ in 2011. From 2010 to 2011 he starred as Pete Griffiths in the sitcom ‘Pete versus Life’. Veteran actress Imelda Staunton is another cast member of the series who plays the role of Penny. In the 2004 British period drama movie ‘Vera Drake’, Staunton played the lead role of the titular character winning her an Academy Awards nomination, a Critics’ Choice Movie Awards nomination, and a British Academy Film Awards.

In 2014 she played Hefina Headon, one of the members of the Women’s Support Group, in the British historical comedy movie ‘Pride’ which is based on the incident of 1984 when a number of lesbian and gay activists set forth with the Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners campaign to help the families in the time of British miners’ strike.

For that role, she won a British Academy Film Awards nomination, a National Film Awards nomination, and a British Independent Film Award. She portrayed Dolores Umbridge in the Harry Potter movies- ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’ and ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- Part 1’.

For playing Louisa Durrell in the television film ‘My Family and Other Animals’ in 2005 she won an International Emmy Award nomination in the category of Best Actress.

For the British tv series ‘Return to Cranford’ she played Octavia Pole which won her a BAFTA TV Award nomination under the category of Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
