Chickenhare and the Hamster of Darkness: Plot

Here’s everything you need to know about the movie.

With no one else to help them, adventurer hare brothers Peter and Lapin set out on a quest to find the Hamster of Darkness about twenty years ago. But, unfortunately, they came across something else on their journey: a half chicken and half hare baby. So Peter brought it to his house. He raised him as his son and gave him the name Chickenhare.

Chickenhare And The Hamster of Darkness

Chickenhare’s only regret is that he has been excluded from all groups. He didn’t have any friends because of his appearance. Chichenhare’s only desire as he grows up is to become an adventurer. Unfortunately, he failed a test due to his chicken features. So finally, he decided to become an adventurer by embarking on a quest to find the Hamster of Darkness.

How does the real twist take place?

Meanwhile, his uncle Lapin and his companions set out to find the Hamster of Darkness. Abe, a tortoise servant, joined Chickenhare. There was, however, no guide to help them along the way. Instead, they were fortunate to have Meg, the skunk explorer. Before they can obtain the Hamster of Darkness, all three must go through a series of adventures that they easily complete.

The twist was unexpected; just as the trios arrived and were about to take the hamster of darkness, Lapin and his crew came and took the hamster away. Chickenhare was so dissatisfied that he decided to take it back from Lapin. Chickenhare realizes the truth after obtaining the hamster: the scepter power only responds to the person who first uses it.

What happens at the end of the story?

Toward the end, Chickenhare discovers a way to destroy the Scepter by dropping it into the massive pit beneath the area of the Royal Adventure Society testing grounds. Chickenhare and Lapin engaged in combat. As a result, both fall into the pit along with the Scepter. Chickenhare saves himself by flying. Unfortunately, the Scepter’s power was destroyed, resulting in Lapin’s demise.

Chikenhare eventually decided to strike out on his own as an adventurer. Chikenhare later joined Abe and Meg on their new adventure.
