Pipa Update: Alejandro Montiel has directed the upcoming Netflix movie ‘Pipa’ which is coming on the streaming site on the 27th of July this year. This crime mystery thriller Spanish film has been primarily filmed in Buenos Aires, Federal District, Argentina.
The plot of the movie revolves around a woman named Manuela Pips Pelari who is a former investigator. After having her life altered by some incidents, that involve her breaking police rules and hiding dark secrets, she has been living in a North Argentinian town in isolation. But when a corpse appears, she becomes forced to return to her old life.
The primary cast members of the series include Luisana Lopilato, Paulina García, Inés Estévez, Malena Narvay, Ariel Staltari, Mauricio Paniagua etc. The script of the series is written by Florencia Etcheves, Alejandro Montiel, Mili Roque Pitt.
Pipa (2022): Luisana Lopilato:
Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato is a former member of the pop-rock band named Erreway. Lopilato’s siblings also belong to the acting world. They are actor Darío and actress Daniela Lopilato. As a singer, she rose to fame through the series ‘Chiquititas’ in the album of which she sang.
Her acting career also began with that series in 1997 as she appeared as a guest artist. Then in 1999, she was cast in that series for the character of Luisana Maza. From 2002 to 2003 she acted in the role of Mia Colucci in Canal 9 and América TV’s popular telenovela ‘Rebelde Way’.
From 2005 to 2006 she was cast in the Argentine series ‘Casados con Hijos which is the remake of ‘Married… with Children’, an American series. In 2006 she starred as Allegra Riganti in ‘Alma Pirata’. From 2008 to 2009 Lopilato played the role of Nina Lacalle in the telenovela Atracción x4′ and in 2010 she was cast in the role of Bianca Rivera in ‘Alguien Que me quiera’.

Chilean actress Paulina García Alfonso is also one of the cast members of the series. Inés Estévez:
Another cast member of the series is Argentinian actress Inés Estévez. Her filmography includes movies like ‘Conviviendo con la muerte’, ‘La vida según Muriel’, ‘Diario para un cuento’, ‘La fuga’, ‘Ay, Juancito’, ‘El misterio de la felicidad’, ‘Te esperaré’, ‘Acusada’ etc.

In 2019 she joined the cast member of ‘Pequeña Victoria’ for the role of Selva Antúnez and in the cast members of Amazon Prime Video’s ‘Supernova’ for the role of Graciela. Other tv series in which she appeared are ‘Tiempo final’, ‘Tiempo final 3’, ‘Botines’, ‘Mujeres asesinas’, ‘Victoria, psicóloga vengadora’ etc.
Malena Narvay:
Argentinian actress cum singer Malena Narvay will also be seen in the new tv series.
