Redmi 10 Prime is a budget smartphone launched on September 3, 2021. Redmi 10 Prime has some great features such as a 50MP camera. It was the first phone to launch with a MediaTek Helio G88 processor.

Design: 10 prime has a gloss black panel with plastic sides. The right side has a power button integrated with a fingerprint scanner. There is a volume controller too above it.

The bottom has a USB-C charging port with a speaker grille and microphone. The top has a speaker grill along with an IR blaster. The phone is sturdy, but the design is like the Redmi Note 10 series.

Display: 10 Prime has an IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution and has 90Hz Refresh Rate. Surprisingly, Adaptive Refresh Rate is available, which most smartphones don’t get at this price range. The display size is 6.5, inches with 1080 X 2400 pixels and an 83.3% screen-to-body ratio.

Camera: Redmi 10 Prime has a primary camera has a 50MP resolution along with an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor which makes it a quad camera setup. The camera setup is applaudable for the budget segment. The front has an 8MP camera. Both front and back cameras can shoot video at 1080p @ 30FPS.

The phone gets two variants, 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM. The phone gets LPDDR4 RAM type and eMMC 5.1 storage type. The phone is good for daily usage. You can’t play games in hardcore settings, but feasible in medium settings. With the new MIUI, there are very less bloatware and ads.

Battery and Connectivity: The battery capacity of Redmi 10 Prime is 6000mAh which gets charged by an 18W fast charger. The device can last up to a day or two with that huge 6000mAh battery. Redmi 10 Prime comes with all types of sensors including a side-mounted fingerprint reader. There is dual-band Wi-Fi along with Bluetooth 5.1 and Dual VoLTE 4G.

Final Verdict: Devices such as Moto E32 and Realme Narzo 50 are much better than Redmi 10 Prime. It is an old device with old features.
