MTV Awards 2022: Zendaya hogs the MTV Movie and TV Awards 2022,; takes two accolades home.
Hollywood sensation Zendaya is on an unstoppable success streak. Why? Well, now is not the time to mention her endless knacks. What we should be focusing on instead is the new feather in her cap. So, sit back and relax as we unravel her new achievement.
The 25-year-old actress, Zendaya towered the MTV Movie & TV Awards 2022 held on Sunday by bagging the two awards for her performance in Euphoria and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Zendaya, 25, was awarded the Best Performance for her role of Rue Bennett in HBO’s Euphoria and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
It would be unjust if we talked about Zendaya without mentioning Tom Holland. But, of course, Zendaya wasn’t the only one who took the trophy home. Tom Holland was also honored with the Best Performance award in Spider-Man No Way Home.
Unfortunately, however, the award for the Best Hero category slipped into the lap of Scarlett Johansson for the character of Black Widow.
In the Best Kiss category, Zendaya and Tom were both nominated for their kiss in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Spider-Man No Way Home roped the award for the Best Movie. This was no surprise because NWH was the biggest box-office hit since the pandemic. Spider-Man: No Way Home minted over 1.9 billion dollars worldwide and became the third-biggest hit in domestic theatres after ‘Uncharted’ and ‘Dog’.
