Pause with Sam Jay Season 2 is coming to HBO Max

Pause with Sam Jay Season 2 Updates: Comedian, comedian, and celebrity singer Sam Jay are back for the second season of his HBO series PAUSE with Sam Jay. Following a stunning first-season drama in which the series won the Writers Guild Award nomination for the Comedy / Variety Sketch Series, the show will return with a laugh on May 20, broadcast from 11:00 – 11:30 p.m. ET / PT to HBO with streaming available on HBO Max.

Jay is here to combine stupidity with education and as he listens to and shares things he understands people of all backgrounds, adding to his sense of humorous wisdom along the way. Jay has created a talk-show-vibe series alongside Prentice Penny who is best known for his work as an Insecure producer and writer and director of Netflix’s Uncorked.

Pause with Sam Jay Season 2 Trailer

The trailer released before the start of Season 2 features the same critical conversations that were made comfortable with Jay’s incredible humor. The first look opens up to all the New Yorker nightmares – someone introducing themselves by shouting at a car full of underground.

By the time the clip ends, we don’t think Jay is about to enter the “showtime” program, but we can only dream. This season, along with his regular dinner parties, we will see comedians talking to vendors, scientists (especially bodybuilders), and others as he asks difficult questions to get to the truth.

Known for hearing both sides of the story, he will open the eyes of his friends and interviewees as he takes different views. A proud member of the LGBTQ + community, Jay is not afraid to choose himself or others in his immediate circle.
