The Time Traveler’s Wife is a science fiction romantic drama written by Steven Moffat based on the novel same name. It stars Rose Leslie and Theo James and is set to premiere on HBO on May 15, 2022. The time traveler’s wife is a love story that revolves around the marriage of Clare and henry’s dispute over time travel.

The Time Traveler’s Wife premiers for the audiences in the US on May 15, 2022, on HBO and HBO max. The series will be premiered in The UK on Monday, May 16, 2022, on Sky Atlantic. Rose Leslie and Theo James were cast in February 2021 and in April 2021 Desmin Borges and Natasha Lopez were also cast in the series

After the official announcement of the series, everyone was thinking it was more like a scientific series, however, HBO releases the first trailer of the upcoming series The Time Traveler’s Wife and clarifies that the whole series revolves around a love story.

What enticed you to play the character of Clare in The Time Traveler’s Wife?

In an interview with TVfanatic Rose Leslie who is playing the role of Claire Abshire was asked What enticed you to play the character of Clare in The Time Traveler’s Wife? 

Rose Leslie: I always find it fascinating that she was one-half of the time-traveling couple. I thought that that was a pretty good hook in, as it were, just because of how fascinating [it is].

But also knowing that Clare has gone through something extraordinary in her childhood and that something phenomenally exciting but also very complicated has happened to her, and how that then shapes her as a character. Henry, from a very early age, has a pivotal role in her life.

Then we see her develop into an artist and sculptor, and how that then informs her work, and how she knows that she is committed to this life of uncertainty. But yet she’s very able to show an extraordinary amount of patience, and I just thought [those were] remarkable qualities in a character and very, very fun.
