Heartstopper Season 1: Know About The Cast

Heartstopper Season 1

Oseman says that ‘Heartstopper’ is very close to his heart so deep down, he wanted the casting to be just like he pictured it.

The casting call saw a whopping 10,000 auditions, though it was very hard to select, he is glad that Kit and Joe were finalized. Fans of ‘Rocketman’ will remember how brilliantly Kit portrayed the young Elton John in the biopic. Joe, however, is a novice.

The cast also includes Yasmin Finney, William Gao, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Cormac Hyde-Corrin, Tobie Donovan, and Rhea Norwood.

Why should one watch Heartstopper?

This series will depict the emotionally charged relationship of the teens in a story that will tackle important topics such as mental health, being your authentic self, sticking up to your decisions, coming out, facing your fears, and whatnot! It celebrates love, friendship, and loyalty, and also throws light on Charlie’s mental illness. It encompasses all the small stories of Nick and Charlie’s lives that together make something larger.
