Pacific Rim: The Black just got its poster revealed yesterday. But on 16th April Netflix dropped the bomb unveiling the trailer for Season 2 of Pacific Rim: The Black.

The animated series takes part in the same universe as the 2013 blockbuster. The story pilots around two siblings who learn how to pilot an abandoned Jaeger. Now, the siblings are determined to set out on a journey.
An adventure that will help them to find their missing parents. The incident was caused by Australia being taken over by the Kaiju. The upcoming season is set to end in late April and would unwrap the story, ultimately leading to its end.
In 2021, Pacific Rim: The Black made its debut. It was a must-needed series for all the fans of the franchise embracing its darker tone. The anime series was a must especially after the vapid nonsense of Pacific Rim: Uprising. Though there were many changes that the film would’ve killed the series. But yet thankfully Pacific Rim got another chance from Netflix.
Series Director
The anime series is developed by Greg Johnson and Craig Kyle. In addition, to the fact that both directors have a long history of writing about epic animated adventures.
According to reports, Greg was a head writer for the X-Men: Evolution series and also been a writer for Transformers: Rescue Bots. On the other hand, Kyle has worked on the Iron Man: Armored Adventures and Fantastic Four: World’s Greatest Heroes. He also worked as a co-writer for Marvel Studios’ mega-blockbuster Thor: Ragnarok.
However, this will be the final season of The Black. Because Netflix has a habit of keeping most shows on very brief runs. But anime fans already have an understanding and have always kept quality over quantity. In contrast, if this season fastens to the wharf, it’ll keep the Pacific Rim franchise on a strong note for the audience.
Pacific Rim: The Black Season 2 Trailer Promising An Epic Conclusion
The trailer reveals that this season will be like no other. Excluding no part, Hayley (voiced by Gideon Adion) and Taylor (voiced by Calum Worthy) go deeper into their adventure. They will find their way into the deep wasteland of the new Australia. Trying their best to find their family.
Joining them in their adventure are the teenage assassin Mei (voiced by Victoria Grace) and the human-kaiju hybrid “b0y” (voiced by Ben Diskin). Reaching the true extent of their powers as the journey unfolds.
The Pacific Rim: The Black Season 2 trailer also gave us a hint about the ultimate threat. Faced by the siblings before finding out the truth about their missing parents ultimately. In the Jaeger cemetery, the siblings discover “the sisters”.
“The Sisters” are a group of creepy fanatics who acknowledge the fact about the appearance of the Kaiju messiah and Pacific Rim.
FYI: For all the Black will be sure to quickly discover who this legendary figure is.
But there isn’t only one messiah. The sibling is hardly facing the only Kaiju to fight. The trailer indicates that the final episodes are brimming with them for our heroes.
