This new thriller series is Created by award-winning playwright J.T. Rogers. This HBO Max original crime series is based on Tokyo Vice: An American Reporter on the Police Beat in Japan.

This is a memoir of American journalist Jake Adelstein. The writer is also an executive producer here. Along with him, Destin Daniel Cretton, Ansel Elgort, Brad Caleb Kane, John Lesher, Michael Mann, Alan Poul, J.T. Rogers, and a few more popular faces produced this show.

Tokyo Vice is the all-new thrill ride series that follows American columnist Jake Adelstein (Ansel Elgort). He moved to Tokyo during the 90s, with the desire to join the nation’s driving paper as a foreign journalist to turn into a wrongdoing journalist at the distribution.
