West’s remark was taken down because it violates the platform’s hate speech, bullying, and harassment policies, according to a Metra spokeswoman. As a result, for the next 24 hours, West will be unable to post, comment, or send direct messages. Meta will ban accounts that break these regulations on a regular basis, and if more infractions occur, the platform will take further action.
West’s 99 representatives have declined to comment on the matter.
After Noah highlighted the current feud between West, his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, and her boyfriend, “Saturday Night Live” comic Pete Davidson, on his show Tuesday night, West used a racial slur in an Instagram post early on Wednesday. The post has since been taken down.
On his Instagram page, West mocked Davidson, as well as in the lyrics of his new song “Eazy.” In the song’s animated music video, released on March 2, West kidnaps Davidson and burys him from the neck down. On Wednesday, West continued to make remarks about Davidson, saying, “I’m honestly afraid that SKETE will get my kids’ mom addicted on drugs.” He goes to rehab every two months.” Davidson’s writing partner, Dave Sirus, as well as D.L. Hughley, were the targets of today’s posts.
West has been vocal about his custody battles on Instagram, uploading three videos over the weekend accusing Kardashian of preventing him from seeing his kids whenever he wants. In response to one of the tapes, Kardashian remarked, “Please stop with this tale, you were just here this morning bringing up the kids for school.”
Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021 and was declared legally unmarried on March 2.
