All of Abhishek’s red flags appear in the pods in Love Is Blind 2.

Abhishek Chatterjee is an actor from India. Shake was continually asking women about their bodies in season 2 of Love Is Blind, which caused a lot of red lights in the pods.

Abhishek went into season 2 of Love Is Blind fully aware that he was participating in a study to see if people can fall in love without seeing or knowing how the other person appears on the other side of a wall, but he displayed a number of red flags during his interactions with the ladies in the pods. It’s tough to fall in love with someone you’ve never met, as the couples from Season 1 of Love Is Blind revealed.

The Love Is Blind experiment astonished many people by working for many couples, but it failed to work for the vast majority of single contestants. As Vanessa and Nick Lachey have stated numerous times, the major goal of this series is to prove whether or not the age-old adage “love is blind” is true. According to Lauren & Cameron, Amber & Barnett, and Giannina & Damian, love was blind for Lauren & Cameron, Amber & Barnett, and Giannina & Damian in season one.

Season 2 introduced a cast member who attempted to employ coded language and inquiries, which not only went against the central premise of Love Is Blind but also generated a number of red flags for the women in the pods with whom he was conversing. During a conversation, Abhishek questioned Mallory if she was Latina and that he got “Latina vibes over there,” making her uncomfortable. Shake then proceeded to inform Iyanna that he liked shopping for girls’ clothes and inquired about her size, clearly making her uncomfortable. Shake afterwards questioned about Hope’s delight of working out, which is usually classified as “Are you in shape?” When Hope said she liked working out, Shake plainly remarked that he “gets along best with those who work out,” as if rejecting her response to his own question. Because the purpose of the Love Is Blind pods is to remove physical attraction from first contact between two people, all of these questions were completely improper.

In a later conversation, Shake questioned about Chassidy’s age. After Chassidy revealed her age, Shake replied, “I prefer dating younger.” When Chassidy asked Shake how old he was, he replied 32, she shook her head at the silliness of it all. “All of my significant relationships have been… blonde,” Shake said when he approached Deepti and assumed she was Indian. When Shake moved to the United States, he witnessed “winter and blonde chicks” for the first time. “I was like, ‘Oh wow,'” he described his reaction. “Do you like what you like?” Deepti, it turns out, was able to laugh awkwardly at Shake’s off-the-cuff statements on Love Is Blind. Deepti stated that she had only ever dated white males before, so she knew what Shake was trying to say. In any case, their conversation quickly turned into Shake inquiring if Deepti loved riding on a man’s shoulders at a music festival. “Will lifting you up be difficult for me?”” he asked flatly. Another coded question aiming at assessing Deepti’s height and/or body.

In the second episode, Deepti questioned Abhishek about his statements, and he admitted to being “chunky” as a child. Deepti was happy when Shake commented on how his style of thinking represented some of the “demons” he still carried inside. Despite this, Shake came into this interaction entirely unaware of the message of Love Is Blind, and it took someone to confront him directly to make him see how wrong he was. This may have been a learning experience for Shake, but that doesn’t change the fact that there were several red flags that he wasn’t ready to go through this procedure in the first place.
