Sweet Magnolias Season 2 is coming to Netflix next week and three besties JoAnna Garcia Swisher and Brooke Elliott are about to come back on our screens. The Trailer of the series Sweet Magnolias has been dropped by Netflix a few days back, which is has teased alot to happen in the series.
About the Series Sweet Magnolias
Sheryl J. Anderson had developed The American TV Series which was released on Netflix on May 19, 2022. The show is a TV adaptation of the novel of the same name written by Sherryl Woods, which revolves around the three best friends Maddie Townsend, Dana Sue Sullivan, and Helen Decatur of South Carolina, who are friends since their childhood whose role has been played by JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Brooke Elliott and Heather Headley.
The show has 7.4/10 Ratings on IMDb and 78% reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.
Sweet Magnolias Season 2 Release Date
The Season 2 filming was ended in 2021 which was confirmed by the cast JoAnna Garcia Swisher, who plays the role of Maddie in the shows.
Season 2 of Sweet Magnolias is scheduled to be released on 4th February 2022. And hence we will get all the episodes of Sweet Magnolias Season 2 on this day.

Netflix has dropped the Trailer of Sweet Magnolias Season 2 on 21 January 2022 and as the trailer suggests Season 2 will be full of family, friendship, faith, and margaritas.
We can see the love and friendship between the three friends and how season 1’s cliffhanger ending has changed the life of the three friends.
What can be the plot of Season 2?
The story of Sweet Magnolias Season 2 will start from the story where season 1 was ended where we had seen the accident after the prom night and in the very first season the three friends will come to know about who was in the car during the accident.
We can also notice how the relationships are reshaping the trailer, so the upcoming season could be much more than what we had seen the previous season.

JoAnna Garcia is an American actress and you must have noticed her in the films and shows like The Internship, Fist Fight, Revenge of the Bridesmaids, and American Pie 2. She is well known for her roles in tv series like Freaks and Geeks, Gossip Girl as Bree Buckley, Royal Pains, Once Upon a Time and Pitch.
We know that her character Maddie Townsend is separated from her husband and has three children who live in Serenity, South Carolina. She will be back in season 2 also so JoAnna Garcia Swisher will be back in the new season.
Brooke Elliott will also be back as Dana Sue Sullivan
Elliott is famous for her musical theatrical show like Beauty and the Beast and Wicked and Taboo. Brooke Elliott will also be back in the Sweet Magnolias Season 2 as she is playing one of the main characters named Dana Sue Sullivan, who is a restaurant owner and one of my favorite characters of the show.
Heather Headley will reprise her role of Helen Decatur
Heather Headley is a well known American singer, songwriter, and actress who has done the films like Respect and Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights and TV Series like Chicago Med, She’s Gotta Have It and she has nominations for Grammy Award, NAACP Image Award, and has won the Grammy Award in Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album. And won the awards in Theatre to Drama Desk Award and Tony Award.
