One of Us is Lying Season 2 renewed by Peacock – Release Date and Returning Cast

One of Us is Lying Season 2 has been announced by Peacock, The young adult drama is soon to be notified about its Release Date, Cast, and the possible plot of the show.

The Season 2 of the show was much-anticipated series after its season 1 was released in October 2021. Now Peacock has officially renewed the series for season 2. The series has been adapted from a bestseller novel ‘One of Us Is Lying’ written by M. McManus, and the series has been developed by Erica Saleh who is best known for her work on Instinct, Wisdom of the Crowd, and Channel Zero.

Announcement of One of Us is Lying Season 2

Season 2 of ‘One of Us in Lying’ has been announced by Lisa Katz who is the current president of NBCUniversal Television and Streaming, She said

“We are thrilled that the compelling and binge-worthy first season of One of Us Is Lying resonated so strongly with our YA audience. The fandom behind the series is incredibly passionate, and we can’t wait to deliver more twists and turns that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.”

The Season 1 of the show was directed by Darío Madrona but for One of Us is Lying Season 2 the production studio has hird the screenwriter Erica Saleh as the director.

As confirmed by Deadline Erica Saleh will be the new developer of the show as season 1 of the show had gained so much popularity and the show needs to more grand in the upcoming season.

Expected Release Date of Season 2

Although season 2 has been announced we do not have any confirmed release date of ‘One of Us in Lying’ Season 2. But as per the reviews and the reception of season 1 we can expect the release date announcement of the show very soon. The Season of the show has 6.9 out of 10 on ratings on IMDb.

If the shooting or filming of season 2 will start early then we can get the ‘One of Us in Lying’ Season 2 next year at the end of 2023.
