DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season 7 Part 2 Release Date, And What will happen in the Second Part

Legends of Tomorrow Season 7 Part 2 Updates: On January 12, 2022, Season 7 of Legends of Tomorrow will resume its regular Wednesday night time slot at 8:00 p.m. EST. The episode will be titled “Paranoid Android” and will release on January 12, 2022, at 8 PM EST.

As the title implies, a group of android doppelgangers is being created by the Evil Gideon to replace the actual Legends, During the final climax of “A Woman’s Place is in the War Effort,” the women were part of the war effort!”

Legends of Tomorrow’s show can also be considered an accolade to Douglas Adams’ Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, which is like a spiritual precursor to the weird science presented in the show.

The special will feature actor Victor Garber as the Narrator, though it will not be related to the storylines of Legends of Tomorrow. From season one to three, Garber starred as Professor Martin Stein.

On January 12, 2022, the second half of season 7 of Legends of Tomorrow will bring the regular brand of Legends mayhem.

Following the destruction of their time-ship, the Waverider, the Legends of Tomorrow team is trapped in the year 1925. During the first half of the season, the Legends raced to New York City to locate Dr. Gwyn Davies, the scientist who worked made history’s first time machine. While being pursued by an unknown antagonist, who turned out to be an evil version of Waverider’s AI Gideon.

Gideon whose story led to the show’s concrete plot should not be interlinked with the human Gideon who appeared on Legends of Tomorrow’s 100th episode.

At the end of the sixth season, the Legends harshly Trolled and fought against an alien invasion on Earth in 1925, and were all set to return home when boom, another Waverider appeared and destroyed theirs, leaving the team stranded in the past.  ‘The Bullet Blondes’ continued to plague the show after Season 7 premiered with the Legends temporarily displaced in time apparently resolved, but it wasn’t the only loss. The Legends also lost John Constantine (Matt Ryan), whose magical skills might have been able to help.

There was also a split in the team, as Esperanza ‘Spooner’ Cruz (Lisseth Chavez) and Astra Logue (Olivia Swann) were trapped on Spooner’s mother’s farm with a human version of their AI, Gideon (Amy Louise Pemberton).    Ava Sharpe (Jes Macallan) and Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) have also turned to rob banks as The Bullet Blondes.

Nate Heywood (Nick Zano), Behrad Tarazi (Shayan Sobhian), and Gary Greene (Adam Tsekhman) needed cash without the Waverider’s resources, and they are all lovers, not fighters.    Upon reaching the end of the team, Zari 2.0 (Tala Ashe) was heartbroken.

Although the Legends have been in disarray and displaced, they have felt more settled. The writers have allowed the Legends to rely on their brains, wits, and team dynamics to survive in the 1920s instead of relying on magic and technology.

This season, Nate’s knowledge of history makes an impact on his character arc. In the past few seasons, Nate’s storylines have been uninspiring.

The team would have had no way to maintain the timeline without his help. Certainly, these are the Legends, and they did a terrible job keeping the timeline straight, but at least they tried.

As for this season, what’s been most pleasing has been how the writers have used the characters’ 21st-century sensibilities to comment on past and present bigotry. Political satire has been an integral part of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow before as well, but this season has proven it can score a point while still being completely fun.

As the team traveled to the 1950s back in Season 1, the writers were blunt about the way the era was romanticized by those who were unaffected by its inherent bigotry. The queer community had to remain hidden from male colleagues who acted predatorily towards women. And women had no recourse when faced with predatory behavior by male colleagues.

As Ciara Renée and Franz Drameh portray Kendra Saunders and Jefferson “Jax” Jackson, they deal with racism and microaggressions. Even after time-jumping out of the 1920s, the writers continued to question history, as the Legends decided to save the citizens of Chernobyl despite not being able to prevent the disaster in time.

The show’s antithetical  warp, culminated in “A Woman’s Place is the War Effort!”

After thrashing into the 1940s, somewhere around the fictional factory, Gideon, Spooner, Astra, Sara, and Ava went undercover to find the parts they needed to fix Davies’ time machine.

Astra took matters into her own hands and forging memos allowed integration of the workforce and better working conditions for the women. The only problem was segregation. Spooner and Astra were assigned janitorial duties, making it nearly impossible for Spooner to create the parts required.
