The Other Two Season 3 Renewal Status, Production Details and Much More

The Other Two Season 3 Updates: The comedy series The Other Two, created by former Saturday Night Live co-head writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider, has been renewed for a third season by HBO Max.

The sitcom, which launched on Comedy Central before moving to Warner Media’s streaming service for its second season, had its second season debut on HBO Max in August. The show has been the streamer’s most popular series since the premiere of Season 2 and has witnessed a “solid increase each week” as new episodes have been released, according to the company, which did not provide watching figures.

Drew Tarver, Heléne Yorke, Case Walker, Ken Marino, and Molly Shannon feature in the comedy, which may be the only show on television with a storyline about Justin Bieber becoming unwell as a result of eating too many eggs.

Since their pop star brother Chase Dreams (Case Walker) has officially retired at the ripe old age of 14, Brooke (Yorke) and Cary (Tarver) must now deal with a new famous family member: their 53-year-old mother Pat (Shannon) and her eponymous daytime talk show.  They double down and make it their mission not to be the Other Two once more, humiliated by their status as the Other Two.

Brandon Scott Jones, Gideon Glick, Josh Segarra, and Wanda Sykes were among the Season 2 recurring cast members. Ali Ahn, James Anderson, Justin Bartha, Jordana Brewster, Alessia Cara, Marcia DeBonis, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Ryan Farrell, Jimmy Fowlie, Noah Galvin, Zosia Mamet, Debi Mazar, Derek Peth, Alison Rich, Tuc Watkins, Bowen Yang, and Ian Ziering were among the series’ guest stars.

In a statement, Kelly and Schneider stated, “We are terribly disturbed to see HBO Max throw their weight behind a program with so many foot jokes, and totally happy that it is ours.” “Thank you to everyone who watched, texted, posted, and told their friends to watch. It’s been incredible to see how much our show has resonated with so many people, and we’re grateful to HBO Max for allowing us to return for another season with this incredible cast and crew.”

“Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider have developed a cutting and touching family drama that is willing to highlight its characters’ shortcomings while making us laugh uncontrollably,” says Suzanna Makkos, HBO Max’s EVP of Original Comedy and Adult Animation. It’s been a real pleasure to welcome them and the rest of the cast to HBO Max, and I’m looking forward to keeping them on hold with Brooke for the upcoming conference calls.”

Kelly and Schneider developed, wrote, and executive produced The Other Two, which also features Lorne Michaels and Andrew Singer, Tony Hernandez for Jax Media, and Ari Pearce and Samantha Schles for MTV Entertainment Studio as exec producers. Broadway Video’s producers are Eddie Michaels, Toye Adegboro, and Kaylani Esparza, with Hilary Marx serving as co-executive producers.
