Avatar 2 presents us with a new image, of conceptual art, under the sea

Avatar 2 Updates: The first of the sequels set in Pandora will premiere on Christmas 2022.
We still know very little about the plot of Avatar 2, only that Jake Sully ( Sam Worthington ) and Neytiri ( Zoe Saldana ) have started a family, but will be forced to leave their home and explore new regions of the world of Pandora.

Also that James Cameron, a great passion about the aquatic depths, will be having a great time filming this and the three more sequels, until Avatar 5.

To keep its followers happy, the film’s official Twitter account has published a new image, belonging to the concept art, in which we see a Navi mounted on top of a fantastic sea creature. And it is that Avatar 2 promises to be bluer than ever. The scoop was released to coincide with World Oceans Day, June 8.

In addition to Worthington and Saldana, they will also repeat Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang as the villainous Colonel Miles Quaritch, and the novelty of Kate Winslet who returns to act under Cameron’s orders 24 years after Titanic.

And his participation in the sequel created a curious record, that of holding his breath for the filming of an underwater scene. Nothing less than seven minutes and 14 seconds.

Regarding the calendar of release dates for the arrival in theaters of the particular James Cameron film serial, let us remember that the forecast is that Avatar 2 will be released on December 16, 2022, Avatar 3 on December 20, 2024. Avatar 4 on December 18, 2026, and Avatar 5 on December 22, 2028.
