Love, Death, and Robots Season 3 U[dates: Love, Death, and Robots have had a run of two seasons on Netflix with its second season releasing only this month on the 14th of May, 2021. Directed by Oscar-nominated David Fincher, the show is a collection of short animated stories spanning various genres including sci-fi, fantasy, horror, and comedy. The animations, created by world-class animators, bring out unique stories that explore alternate histories, life for robots post-apocalypse, world domination by super-intelligent yogurt, among others.

While the first season had a total of 18 episodes, the second season was cut down to only 8 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and consequent government restrictions. However, there’s no need to be distraught as Netflix recently confirmed that more episodes for the series are on the way.

Love, Death and Robots Season 3: Release date

The anthology series will be returning with a third installment sometime in 2022.

The OTT platform is yet to announce an official release date. However, considering the fact that the previous seasons were premiered in late spring (season 1 in March 2019 and season 2 in May 2021), we can expect the same from the third as well.

 Season 3: Plot

Being an anthology series, there’s no way of knowing what the third season might contain unless the creators or Netflix themselves choose to give us a hint. But that seems unlikely unless the trailer drops.

seeing what the previous seasons have shown, it’s safe to say that the latest addition will also feature short stories based on a range of themes such as heavy violence and murderous vacuum cleaners.

Love, Death and Robots Season 3: Cast

Following the success of the first season, the series started to attract big names from Hollywood. The second season had Michael B Jordan (Creed, Black Panther) featuring in one of the episodes. Other popular names included Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Topher Grace, Samira Wiley, and Chris Parnell.

The official line-up isn’t out yet but considering the show’s popularity, one can have high expectations from it!
