Locke and Key Season 2 Updates: “Locke and key” premiered on Netflix in February 2020 and was loved and appreciated by audiences all around the world.
It is a fantasy horror, supernatural television series based on a comic book of the same name by Joe Hill. The series was renewed for a second and third season in March, 2020 and December, 2020; respectively.
The story is set in the fictional setting of Rendell, where, after Locke’s death, his wife and children start residing. They discover various keys that could uncover various doors in magical ways, not only that, they also realise that someone other than them is trying to find the keys for malevolent purposes.
Fans, who are totally hooked on the show, will be disappointed to know that the show would not be hitting the Netflix screens in May.
The show being renewed only in March, makes it understandable why it isn’t coming on screens as of yet; the shooting must have been delayed so many times due to the pandemic. But, fortunately, the show has gone under its post production stage that should make us hopeful to see the show in the screens in this year itself.

Regardless of our anticipations, “Deadline” did not give out the name of “Locke and key”when it announced the names of the show expected to hit Netflix in the latter quarter of this year. Does this mean that we would have to wait for a whole year yet again.
Well we do have many other shows coming out like “The Witcher”, “You” and “Cobra Kai”, but one cannot help but be optimistic about the show releasing this very year as a surprise for the fans all over the world.
Wouldn’t that be great? Let us hope that the post production stage gets over quickly as it much be a tedious job to put all the visual effects that have to be in the show.
