The global crisis that has come upon with the pandemic has left the show statued from its production work to the shooting and filming.

But to the audiences’ excitement, it seems that the filming has resumed in January this year according to a tweet from the show’s official handle. The tweet was posted on January 18 telling that the Shelby’s are back in business and the season 6 filming has begun. Based on the tweets, it is predictable that the filming is going smoothly and the stage looks pretty good for the final season.

The fans can expect the last and the final season of Peaky Blinders to release by late 2021 or early 2022.

Expected Plot of Season 6

Season 5 finale showed how Tommy took out his political rival, Oswald Mosley, a British fascist through an entire strategy. Tommy and Barney, a good buddy and a sharp sniper, get together to kill Mosley in a political rally. The season ended with the death of Shelby ally Aberama Gold and Tommy trying to attempt suicide.

However, the most pressing question is who betrayed Tommy and caused his scheme to fail. Tommy’s suicidal ideation will be addressed in Season 6 surely and assumingly he won’t die after Season 5, considering that actor Cillian Murphy has confirmed his return.
