Big four-legged animals appeared in various locations in the trailer, fighting side by side with the monks to protect the temple. Although they look like giant lions, they are actually blessed dogs. A creature in Buddhist mythology that should protect the holy land from pollution.

One of the most interesting videos in the Shang Chi trailer is a large-scale battle in an ancient Chinese temple where soldiers attack on horseback.

This, together with the Mandarin narrative, implies that they have existed for hundreds of years, and the conquest plan has been underway for a long time.

6. The Battle Inside The Temple

Another shortcut shows Shang Chi fighting with another man in a Buddhist temple. In this scene, in stark contrast to most of the other battles shown in the trailer, Shang Chi is dressed up (also highlighted in the first official movie poster).

The short footage shows Shang Chi fighting in close quarters with one of his rivals on a moving bus. The bearded opponent was holding a sword, which seemed to be attached to the end of his arm, not to his hand. Lost his hand and glow with red energy.

It is not yet clear whether this effect is magical, technical or based on chi.

8. A Familiar Necklace

At some point, Shang-Chi met a woman who was able to knock him down in a cage battle, as if holding a necklace that was his twin, or she could wear it by removing the necklace. In any case, it looks like Xia Ling, Shang Chi’s ex-elder sister.

9. The Forest Fight Sequence
